DASHBOARD BUILDING

A Digital Marketing Reporting Dashboard That Saves Report Day

Search data is in Google Search Console, traffic is in GA4, leads are in a CRM or a sheet, and none of them are on the same screen. A digital marketing reporting dashboard I build pulls all three together, keeps them current every night, and produces the monthly report without you building it manually.

A digital marketing reporting dashboard fixes the problem of disconnected data. Search performance, traffic and lead counts are the three numbers most marketing teams check weekly, and all three require a different login. I build one private screen that holds all three, refreshed every night, with a branded monthly report ready to export or send.

Search, traffic and leads on one screen

The marketing dashboard pulls from three sources simultaneously. Google Search Console provides organic click and ranking data. GA4 provides sessions, users and channel breakdown. Your lead source, whether that is a form handler, a CRM export or a manually updated sheet, provides the enquiry count by channel and date. All three sit on the same site page so you can see, in one view, whether traffic from a keyword is converting or just driving sessions with no enquiry.
I built and run a live private SEO dashboard on my own server that tracks this data across multiple sites. It pulls from GSC and GA4 every night, keeps 16 months of history, and produces branded weekly and monthly reports in PDF, Excel and CSV. An independent audit confirmed the numbers match live Google data. This dashboard adds the lead layer on top of that same build.

Reports that build themselves

The monthly marketing report pulls the same data that is already in the dashboard, formats it with your logo and brand colours, and exports it as a PDF, Excel file and CSV. The schedule is set during the build: weekly, monthly, or both. On report day the file is already in the output folder or sent to the email list you provided. You do not compile anything, you do not format anything. You review and send.

What the client provides

  1. 1. Google Search Console and GA4 access for each site to be tracked.
  2. 2. The lead source: form handler database, CRM export on a schedule, or a shared sheet.
  3. 3. Logo and brand colours for the dashboard and report templates.
  4. 4. Report schedule and email recipients for the monthly export.
  5. 5. List of who needs a dashboard login and which sites each person should see.

Proof

I run a live private SEO dashboard that pulls Google Search Console and GA4 data every night across multiple sites, keeps 16 months of history, and produces branded weekly and monthly reports in PDF, Excel and CSV. An independent audit compared the output against live Google data and the numbers matched. The digital marketing reporting dashboard adds the lead data layer to the same build and applies it to each client's domain and branding.

FAQ

Digital marketing reporting dashboard questions.

The core sources are Google Search Console for organic search performance, GA4 for traffic and session data, and your lead source of choice: a form handler, a CRM export, or a lead tracking sheet. From Search Console the dashboard pulls clicks, impressions, average position and click-through rate per site. From GA4 it pulls sessions, users, top channels and top landing pages. From your lead source it pulls enquiry counts by channel and date. All three sit on the same screen for each site.
The marketing reporting dashboard exports in PDF, Excel and CSV. The PDF is formatted for client delivery: your logo, branded colours and the site name on the cover, with each metric section labelled and the period comparison shown clearly. The Excel and CSV files contain the raw data for anyone who wants to work with the numbers directly. All three export from the same data pull, so nothing is out of sync between formats.
Yes, and that is the main reason this build is useful. Organic traffic without lead context tells you clicks, not outcomes. The marketing analytics dashboard puts traffic and lead numbers side by side so you can see whether a traffic increase translated into more enquiries, or whether a traffic drop affected lead volume. The lead source depends on what you use: a form handler table, a CRM export uploaded on a schedule, or a sheet you maintain manually.
Each person who needs access gets their own login via email invite. Access is set per site: a team member covering three clients sees those three. A client logging in directly sees only their own data. Reports can also go out by email on a schedule without the recipient needing to log in at all. The login and the report delivery are two independent features.
A standard GA4 report shows one property at a time, requires a Google account to access, and does not include Search Console or lead data. The digital marketing reporting dashboard puts GSC and GA4 together on one screen, adds lead source data, covers multiple sites in a single login, and keeps historical data past Google's 16-month cutoff. It also produces the monthly report file automatically, rather than requiring someone to build it from scratch each time.
Typically two to three weeks from the point I have access to your GSC and GA4 properties and your lead data source. The first week is data connection and setup. The second covers the dashboard screens and report templates. A short review period follows before handover. If you have multiple sites or an unusual lead source, I will say so in the proposal.
