DASHBOARD BUILDING

An Agency Dashboard Your Clients Can Log Into

Most agency reporting tools either show everything to everyone or require a separate account per client. The marketing agency dashboard I build sits on your domain, lets each client log in and see only their own sites, and sends branded reports on the schedule you set, without you touching anything on report day.

An agency dashboard with separate client logins solves the reporting access problem that every marketing agency eventually hits: how to give a client visibility into their own data without giving them visibility into everyone else's. The agency reporting dashboard I build handles that at the account level, not through separate installs or separate contracts.

How the client login model works

The dashboard has two account levels. Your admin account sees every client and every site. A client account sees only the sites attached to it. The access is set when you onboard the client and can be changed at any time. If you manage fifteen sites and a client has three of them, their login shows their three. There is no way for them to navigate to a view of another client's data.
My own SEO dashboard runs this exact model. Each user logs in with their own credentials and sees only the sites shared with their account. The per-site restriction is enforced at the data query level, not just the interface, so there is no workaround through a URL.

Branded reports on your domain

The dashboard lives on your domain or a subdomain you choose. The report templates carry your logo and brand colours. When a client receives their monthly report, the sender and the branding are yours. The data behind the report comes from the Google Search Console API and GA4, so the numbers are the same numbers Google holds, formatted the way you want to present them.
Reports export in PDF, Excel and CSV. The PDF is built for reading and forwarding. The Excel and CSV files are for clients or team members who want to work with the raw data. All three formats generate from the same nightly pull, so nothing is out of sync.

What the client provides

  1. 1. A list of all client sites and which GSC and GA4 properties map to each.
  2. 2. Which sites each client account should have access to.
  3. 3. Agency logo, primary and secondary brand colours for the report templates.
  4. 4. Domain or subdomain to host the dashboard on.
  5. 5. Report schedule and the email address each client report should go to.

Proof

My own SEO dashboard has per-site user access running on it. Each user logs in and sees only the sites shared with their account. The branded report templates export in PDF, Excel and CSV in both a light and a dark template. An independent audit confirmed the numbers in the reports match the live data in Google Search Console. This is the same build applied to your agency's client list and your branding.

FAQ

Agency dashboard questions.

Each client gets their own login via email invite. When they sign in they see a dashboard showing only the sites you have shared with them, nothing else. If a client manages three sites and you have twenty across your agency, they see their three. The access is set during onboarding and can be changed any time from the admin view.
No. Access is enforced at the data layer, not just the interface layer. When a logged-in user requests data, the query is filtered to the sites attached to their account. Navigating to a URL for a different client's site returns no data, not an error that hints at what is there.
Yes. The dashboard runs on your domain, carries your logo, and the reports that go out to clients use your branding, not mine. To the client it looks like a tool your agency built and runs. The report templates cover your primary and secondary brand colours and export in PDF, Excel and CSV.
You send me the new client's GSC and GA4 property access, the sites they should see, and their email address. I add the properties to the data pipeline, create the client account, and send the invite. From the client's side it is an email, then a login, then their sites. No install, no software to learn.
Yes. The admin account sees the full dashboard with every site across all clients. You can view any site, pull reports for any client, and check the last-updated timestamp for each data source. The per-client login restrictions apply only to accounts you designate as client-level.
Each client site page shows organic clicks, impressions, average position and click-through rate from Google Search Console, plus sessions and top channels from GA4. The keyword table shows which search terms drove clicks for that site. Monthly reports are the same data formatted for email delivery.
